It’s time for our final post in the Brainstorm AI series.  Join us as we dive into the locations of these companies and the astounding amounts of capital flowing into these global AI hubs.

As we zoom in, it becomes evident that the United States is a behemoth in AI innovation. With 326 vetted firms, the U.S. remains at the forefront of AI research and development. Notably, over half of these firms call the San Francisco Bay Area home, a testament to its enduring dominance in the AI ecosystem, a dominance that eclipses all other contenders in comparison.

Across the Atlantic, the United Kingdom emerges as a prominent player with 59 AI firms, fueled by strong research institutions and a very active startup culture. Meanwhile, Israel, a nation of just 9 million people, boasts an impressive 43 AI firms, earning its well-deserved reputation as the Startup Nation. India, with 26 firms, is a rising AI force, driven by a pool of talented engineers and growing interest in AI technologies.

Our map reveals intriguing patterns in AI funding. The San Francisco Bay Area again stands tall, with an impressive $3.5 billion invested in AI firms in the area. This concentration solidifies Silicon Valley's reputation as the epicenter of AI innovation. Even beyond the Bay Area, the United States continues to lead the way in AI funding, with cities like Boston, Irvine and New York attracting billions of dollars in investments. Europe is also making significant strides. Paris, France, shines with investments totaling $848 million, highlighting France's growing influence in the AI sector. The United Kingdom, with Bristol and London in the spotlight, demonstrates its commitment to nurturing AI talent, attracting $847 million in funding.

As we venture further into the global landscape, Asia emerges next. Hong Kong and Beijing in China secure $402 million and $252 million, respectively. Israel, with $335 million raised, and India, with $60.88million, are also seizing their moments on the global stage.
